Brown & Associates specializes in strategic communications planning, crisis communications, media relations, digital communications, external and internal communications, speechwriting, and management of graphic design, videography, and visual arts projects. We have extensive experience -- especially with school districts -- in outreach to diverse audiences, including during labor negotiations strikes and community crises.
Keep everyone in the loop with messaging, action items and timelines focused on audience needs and resources, as well as organization mission and goals.
Connect the dots with a clear, well-articulated project plan to ensure buy-in is secured, roles are clear and deadlines are met.
Change is hard. Make it a little bit easier with clear and timely messaging, realistic goals and regular updates. You can do this.
It starts at the top. Leaders should never be afraid to ask for writing, presenting or media relations support. We're here for you (and your staff will thank you).
It's important to know what to say and when to say it when it feels like the bottom is dropping out. Even more important is accuracy. Let us help you navigate your communications while you run the shop.
Julie led communications and marketing at both Minneapolis Public School and Saint Paul Public schools, after working in both the non-profit and private sectors in public relations, fund development and marketing. She is energized by people and enjoys working across organizations to bring projects to fruition.
Brown & Associations is included on the State of Minnesota's Equity in Procurement List (TG/ED/VO) as a certified woman-owned business. If you're in the public sector, that might make it easier for us to work together.
Call or send a message and Julie will get back to you soon.
